This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and sealed on sides and back to protect the stone for long term use. 

It measures 210 mm (8.27 inches) long × 80 mm (3.15 inches) wide × 35 mm (1.38 inches) tall, and weighs 1680 g (59.26 oz / 3.70 lbs).

Super hard and dense Awasedo. beautiful Haebute coloration and multi colored banding. This is a very interesting and visually captivating stone. It's ivory colored base is adorned with multi colored spots and swirling patterns which come out when the stone is wet.
